Marriott International has unveiled the first Southeast Asian hotel under its luxury lifestyle brand EDITION.
The Singapore EDITION is located off the west end of Singapore’s upper Orchard Road, and features architectural design elements including a bronze and glass façade, a domed ceiling in the lobby covered in gold leaf, and a conservatory with curved glass roof and biophilic green wall.
Facilities include 204 rooms and suites, sustainable seafood-focused steakhouse restaurant FYSH at EDITION, signature bar Punch Room, and a timber-decked garden courtyard leading into the property’s event spaces.
The hotel’s rooftop features a bar and swimming pool, and there is also a second floor spa with seven treatment rooms, his-and-her changing suites offering sunken vitality thermal pools, an ice fountain, relaxation lounge, sauna and steam room, and a fitness centre.

EDITION Hotels was conceived as a joint venture between Marriott and American hotelier and entrepreneur Ian Schrager, with the first property opening in Waikiki in 2010.
There are currently 17 EDITION hotels worldwide, in locations including London, New York, Barcelona, Tokyo, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bodrum.
Last year the brand opened hotels in Tampa and Madrid, and Marriott is aiming to reach 30 properties by 2027, with forthcoming locations including Milan, Kuala Lumpur, Fort Lauderdale and Lake Como.
