Marriott International plans to bring its Edition Hotels brand to Italy’s Lake Como in 2025.
The Lake Como Edition will be located within a 19th century building on the western shore of the well-known lake, and feature 145 guest rooms, including two penthouse suites, along with a lobby bar, pool and multiple restaurants and bars overlooking the lake.
The hotel group has signed an agreement with Bain Capital Credit and Omnam Group for the forthcoming property.

Edition Hotels was conceived as a joint venture between Marriott and American hotelier and entrepreneur Ian Schrager, with the first property opening in Waikiki in 2010.
There are currently 14 Edition hotels worldwide, in locations including London, New York, Barcelona, Tokyo, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bodrum.
The brand’s most recent addition was the Tampa Edition, which is currently open in a preview phase ahead of a full opening next month.
