Minor Hotels has announced plans to add its first properties in the French capital, following an agreement with Swiss Life Asset Managers France to rebrand three existing hotels.
The properties will be marketed as NH Paris Gare de l’Est, NH Opéra Paris Faubourg (pictured below) and NH Paris Champs Elysées (pictured above) from the first quarter of 2024.
Business Traveller understands these hotels are currently operating as the Holiday Inn Paris Gare de l’Est, the Best Western Premier Opera Faubourg, and Hotel Beauchamps respectively.
The 90-room NH Paris Champs Elysées will subsequently join Minor Hotels’ NH Collection in 2025, following renovation.

The hotels will join the group’s current portfolio of six French properties in Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse and Nice.
Recent openings outside of France include NH Collection Milano CityLife, NH Collection Frankfurt Spin Towe, NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort and NH Collection Dubai The Palm.
Earlier this year NH Hotel Group and its majority shareholder Minor International outlined plans to open 50 new properties between now and the end of 2024, adding more than 10,000 rooms to the group’s portfolio.

Commenting on the news Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels and Group CEO of parent company Minor International, said:
“Our team has been searching for the right opportunities in this key market for some time, so we are pleased to announce that, together with Swiss Life AM, Minor Hotels will arrive in Paris not with one but with three hotels.
“We believe this is an amazing opportunity to grow with two of our brands in the second most visited city in the world and home to the 2024 Olympics.”
