Marriott has added an Aloft property in Singapore’s Balestier district, following the rebranding of two adjacent Wyndham hotels.

The project has seen the Ramada by Wyndham Singapore at Zhongshan Park and Days Hotel by Wyndham Singapore at Zhongshan Park, combined into the single Aloft Singapore Novena.

The hotel offers 781 rooms and four suites across two towers, and is now the largest Aloft property worldwide.

The property is located ten minutes’ south of Singapore’s central business district, and features an 85-inch video wall in the lobby, as well as a 2.5-metre-high “crescendo sculpture inspired by musical notes” positioned at the entrance to the hotel.

Rooms range from 18 to 46 sqm and offer 55-inch TV screens and free wifi / local calls, while public spaces include modern Chinese restaurant Yue, halal-certified buffet restaurant Rajah, and the brand’s signature WXYZ bar concept. The hotel also offers an indoor / outdoor fitness centre and splash pool.

Marriott launched the Aloft brand back in 2008, and the brand has grown to more than 220 properties across 30 countries and territories.

The opening of Aloft Singapore Novena comes as Marriott gears up to debut its Edition brand in the city later this year.

The Singapore Edition will offer 190 rooms in the downtown Orchard district, and is currently taking reservations from 1 December, 2023.
