Accor’s Pullman brand has debuted in Singapore with a property in the city-state’s retail district.

Located at 270 Orchard Road, Pullman Singapore Orchard is a rebranding of a former property, which has been refurbished to incorporate  “progressive, vibrant design” with “fashion-inspired” accommodation.

The 326 rooms and suites come in nine configurations with adjustable lighting and temperature controls, Smart TVs with screen casting capabilities and a dedicated app for hotel services.

Guests staying in a selection of Club Residence rooms will gain access to the hotel’s Archive Club, an executive lounge with areas for work, relaxing and socialising.

The hotel also features various F&B spaces on the fourth floor of the property. Eden Restaurant offers Asian cuisine “with a modern twist” in a light-filled glasshouse with live cooking stations. The Atelier Lounge is designed for coffee meetings or post-work cocktails, while the P.S.O. Beach Club features cabanas, sun beds, a pool and swim-up pool bar.

The hotel also has a range of meeting and event spaces (branded MEET/PLAY) named after fashion destinations, New York, Shanghai and Paris.

Leisure facilities include a fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool. As with many of the Pullman properties, guests can also request in-room fitness amenities.

In terms of transport, the hotel is close to Orchard and Somerset MRT stations and guests can reach Changi International airport in 20 minutes.

Garth Simmons, CEO of Accor, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea, commented:

“Singapore is a trendsetting city that has evolved from an Asian economic hub into a vibrant global tourism destination. This makes it the perfect setting for our Pullman brand, which has a history that dates back more than 150 years and now attracts a new generation of digital nomads, millennial globetrotters, and business professionals. Pullman Singapore Orchard will deliver bold and creative stays, surrounded by world-class dining and shopping venues.”
