Radisson Hotel Group has opened its latest Swiss property, offering a mixture of hotel rooms and serviced apartments.
Radisson Hotel and Suites Zurich is located in the Glattpark district of Opfikon, between the city’s airport and the Messe Zurich exhibition hall.
The property offers 104 hotel rooms, as well as 343 fully furnished serviced apartments with kitchenettes.
Facilities include Italian restaurant Luigia, as well as a bar and summer roof terrace, a fitness centre and laundry rooms on each floor.
The opening follows the unveiling of Radisson’s first extended stay property in Western Europe in 2021, located in the Amstelveen area of Amsterdam.

The group’s Zurich portfolio includes the Radisson Blu Zurich Airport, and the Radisson Hotel Zurich Airport – the latter of which rebranded from a Park Inn property in 2019.
The opening comes as major hotel brands are increasingly focusing on the extended stay market, with Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt all unveiling new brands this year.
In 2020 Radisson Hotel Group outlined plans to more than double its serviced apartments portfolio over the next five years across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
