Radisson Hotel Group has announced plans for the latest UK property under its Radisson RED brand.
The 204-room Radisson RED Edinburgh Airport will be located less than a mile from the airport, and is scheduled to open in late 2025.
Features will include a top floor restaurant and bar with outdoor terraces overlooking the airport, as well as around 2,000 square feet (185 sqm) of meeting and events space.
The Radisson Red brand launched in Brussels in 2016, and has since added several UK properties in locations including Glasgow and Liverpool.
In 2020 the former Park Inn Heathrow split into two hotels, including the 258-room Radisson RED London Heathrow.
A Gatwick property was also announced in 2021, but while still listed on the group’s website it carries the message that “This property is temporarily closed until further notice”.
Radisson RED Edinburgh Airport will join existing hotels within the immediate vicinity of the airport including the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Airport, the Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh Airport, and the DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport.
