Radisson Hotel Group has opened the first Belgian property under its Radisson Hotels brand, located in the river port city of Liège.
The new-build Radisson Hotel Liege City Centre is located in the Sainte-Marguerite neighbourhood, close to attractions including as Saint-Lambert Cathedral, Montagne de Bueren and Tresor de Liege.
Facilities include 99 rooms across six categories, ranging from “cozy rooms” to suites with balconies and kitchenettes.
The Radisson Bar is open daily between 0930 and midnight, and the hotel also has a meeting room accommodating up to 20 people.
Liège is the third most populous urban area in Belgium after Brussels and Antwerp, and an important inland port close to the borders of both the Netherlands and Germany.
Radisson Hotel Liège City Centre brings the groups Belgian portfolio to 15 properties, including the Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place Brussels, which Business Traveller recently reviewed.
Commenting on the opening Kevin Demarteau, General Manager of Radisson Hotel Liège City Centre, said:
“We are excited to introduce our first Radisson branded hotel to Belgium, and to Liège, and tap into the rising trend of bleisure travel.
“Radisson Hotel Liège City Centre reflects our local culture in Liège from the black and white photographs to the curated snacks and drinks on the menu, including Curtius, Val-Dieu, and Tripick beers. We hope that both our business and leisure guests will enjoy the Radisson experience.”
