Radisson Hotel Group has debuted its Radisson brand in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the opening of the Radisson Hotel Riyadh Airport.
The 471-room hotel is located 5km from King Khalid International airport, and offers duplex suites and three bedroom villa options, the latter of which have a private pool, separate living area, and a dining area with fully equipped kitchen.
Facilities include outdoor and indoor pools, a spa, and separate male and female fitness centres, as well as all day dining restaurant Lune, and Kasbah Cafe for light international dishes and shisha on the pergola terrace.
There are also 11 meeting rooms, as well as a “soon to open” 1,800 sqm auditorium.
The opening means Radisson Hotel Group now operates four brands in Saudi Arabia, with the Radisson Hotel Riyadh Airport joining existing properties under the Radisson Blu, Park Inn and Radisson Collection brands.
The group now has a total of 25 hotels, resorts and serviced apartments either in operation or under development in the kingdom.
Last summer Radisson signed three new Saudi Arabia properties under its Radisson Individuals, Radisson Blu and Park Inn brands.
Commenting on the opening Tim Cordon, area senior vice president, Middle East, and Africa at Radisson Hotel Group, said:
“We are delighted to welcome our first airport hotel to Riyadh and bring an additional brand from our portfolio to the capital. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains a key development area for us, evident in our fast expansion within the country aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
“We are thrilled for guests to experience this upscale hotel brand which enables guests to focus on a work/life balance and find harmony in their travel experience.”
