Dusit International has opened its first Asai-branded hotel in Bangkok.
The Thai hospitality company says its new Asai brand is an “affordable lifestyle brand for millennial-minded travellers”.
Located in Bangkok’s Chinatown neighbourhood, Dusit says the Wat Mangkon MRT (underground) station, which connects the area to the rest of the city, is only 100 metres from the property.
Asai Bangkok Chinatown offers 224 rooms (ranging from 18-22 sq m) featuring Thai-Chinese-inspired design.
Guests can dine at the “Jam Jam eats and drinks” restaurant which features a “seasonal farm-driven” menu created in collaboration with local chefs. An on-site organic garden will provide fresh herbs and vegetables for the restaurant, says the hotel.
The communal space in the new property is equipped with workspaces, a 24 hour fitness centre, and a bar with craft beers and cocktails.
The hotel says it has partnered with coffee company Akha Ama to source locally grown Arabica beans from the company.
