Thai hospitality group Dusit International’s Dusit Thani Manila hotel has opened an airport lounge at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport for arriving guests that have booked a stay at the hotel.
Located landside at the VIP lounge area in Terminal 1, the lounge is open daily from 8am to 8pm. The facility is furnished with couch seating, air-conditioning, an LED TV and wifi. There’s also a coffee and tea station, along with daily supply of refreshments, as well as newspapers and magazines.
Guests who have booked a stay at Dusit Thani Manila hotel have access to the lounge, and they are required to present a valid booking reference prior to entry. Dusit’s airport representatives will also pick up guests at the exit of the immigration and lead them to the lounge. Departing passengers also have access to this lounge.
However, the hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle service between the airport and the hotel. Instead, it provides a limousine service for a fee. The rate for a standard sedan service starts at PHP 1,955 (US$40) for a single journey, while the rate for a Toyota Camry service starts at PHP 3,000 (US$60).
Situated in Metro Manila’s Makati district, which is also known as the financial centre of the Philippines, Dusit Thani Manila is a 20-minute drive from Manila International Airport. Glorietta and Greenbelt shopping centres are both within walking distance.
The hotel has 500 rooms and suites. The size starts from 30 sqm. Dining options include a Thai restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, and an all-day dining eatery where there’s also a grab-and-go counter and a bar.
