Business Traveller rounds up recently opened and upcoming hotels from brands including Oakwood and Rosewood Hotels and Resorts.

Rosewood Bermuda

Tourism in Bermuda continues to thrive with the recently unveiled comprehensive renovation of the luxurious Rosewood Hotel in Bermuda. The resort offers 88 guestrooms, a new restaurant and lounge bar, a private beach club on the pink sand beach, a golf and tennis clubhouse and a revamped spa and fitness centre. The design of the hotel utilises a mixture of native culture and colonial British heritage. Prices start from £836 per night.

White City House London

Part of the BBC’s former headquarters in White City have been turned into west London’s newest luxury hotel. This Soho House project opened in April in the former Television Centre and features 45 rooms of various sizes with décor that was inspired by mid-century modern designs. The hotel also has two floors of private members’ club with a rooftop pool and terrace, a gym and a screening room, all of these accessible to hotel guests. The Allis lounge and bar is open all day and guests can choose indoor or outdoor seating. Prices start from £120 per night.

Raffles Europejski Warsaw

Raffles Hotels and Resorts’ third European location is a neo-renaissance palace built in 1857 that served as a luxury hotel until the Second World War. A four-year-long renovation has restored the building, with a new design that aims to pay homage to Polish art and craftsmanship. Nearly 500 pieces of art by 120 artists line the walls of the hotel. The Europejski Grill serves a modern Polish menu, and there is also a bar, lounge and patisserie. The hotel is located on Royal Route overlooking the Presidential Palace and is close to the Old Town. Prices start from £240 per night.

Oakwood Hotel and Apartments Shin-Osaka

Oakwood’s newest property will be the first in Japan outside of Tokyo for the brand. It will offer 126 furnished service apartments and 59 hotel-style guestrooms. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station, which serves as a link between the southern Kansai region and Tokyo and also provides easy access to Kyoto, Kobe and Nara. The hotel is scheduled to open August 1 and prices start from £66 per night.

The Tsinandali Estate, A Radisson Collection Hotel, Georgia

Situated on the vineyards in the Kakheti region east of the capital Tbilisi, next to an 18-hectare park, the first Radisson Collection hotel in Georgia is intended to boost Kakheti’s profile as a unique business and leisure destination. The hotel will have 141 rooms and suites, as well as an infinity rooftop pool overlooking the Caucasus Mountains, a spa, several restaurants and a 1,200-seat amphitheatre. Tsinandali Estate will also make its vineyard accessible to guests for tours and wine tasting. It is set to open in October and prices have not yet been released.

Rosewood Hotel Houston

A new luxury Rosewood is coming to Houston’s Uptown District in 2023. The hotel will offer 150 rooms and be part of a new high-rise development by McNair Interests, an investment company. Guests can use the full-service restaurant, the outdoor pool and bar, a fitness centre and a spa. Several meeting and event spaces on the property will also be available. This will be Rosewood’s second Texas location, and room prices have not yet been set.
