Easyjet is to launch a four times-weekly service from Gatwick to Luxembourg on October 29.
The low-cost carrier will compete with British Airways (which operates flights from Heathrow), Luxair and Cityjet (both of which fly from London City airport).
Easyjet says it will launch the service with four flights per week, “with a view to increasing this number at a later date”.
The flights to Luxembourg are among ten new Easyjet routes this winter, including services to Tel Aviv from Manchester (see online news April 17), Belfast from Birmingham (see online news April 19), and Tallinn, Turin, Amsterdam, Geneva, Venice, Isle of Man and Copenhagen from various UK airports.
