As of 1 January, 2024, Kempinski Hotels has officially rebranded two properties in Dubai.

Kempinski recently signed a partnership with Abu Dhabi National Hotels to reflag Address Boulevard and Address Dubai Mall which are now known as Kempinski The Boulevard Dubai and Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai.

The 72-storey Kempinski The Boulevard Dubai located in Downtown Dubai, close to Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera and the Burj Khalifa, has 198 rooms and suites and a collection of residences.

F&B options here include brasserie-style cuisine served in The Living Room, The Kitchen, The Collection Room and The Dining Room, as well as several private dining areas for intimate gatherings and an open-air terrace.

The hotel also has a 760 sqm spa which features hammams as well as salt and steam rooms. Outside, there are also three swimming pools on the property.

Close to that property is the Kempinski Hotel Central Avenue Dubai which has 245 rooms and suites. Each one has its own private balcony with views of Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa or the city’s skyline.

In addition to the two properties added to its portfolio, Dubai also has the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates and Kempinski Hotel and Residences Palm Jumeirah.

When it opens in 2025, Kempinski Residences The Creek Dubai meanwhile will become the first standalone Kempinski private residences in the region.

“As one of the first luxury hotel companies to secure a foothold in the United Arab Emirates in the late 1990s, Kempinski has a well-established reputation for unsurpassed quality and service. Following a record year of performance, we will continue to grow our portfolio across the region in 2024 and beyond,” said René Nijhof, chairman of the Board of Directors for Kempinski.

“Kempinski has been present in the Middle East for more than 26 years and it remains one of the most dynamic and exciting parts of the world for us,” added Nijhof.

Khalid Anib, chief executive officer of Abu Dhabi National Hotels, said, “We are delighted to see the Kempinski flag flying over two of our most prestigious properties in Dubai. The Kempinski brand is a symbol of excellence that represents the very best of European hospitality. The company’s strong track record and expertise in the region makes it an ideal partner to usher these two hotels into the next era.”

Recently, Abu Dhabi National Hotels also announced plans to reflag three of its Dubai properties under Marriott’s JW and Autograph Collection brands.

From 1 January, 2024, The Address Dubai Marina is now known as the JW Marriott Hotel Marina, while the Vida Downtown Dubai Hotel has become Hotel Boulevard, Autograph Collection, and Manzil Downtown Dubai Hotel has been rebranded as The Heritage Hotel, Autograph Collection.
