SWISS is adding destinations to its short-haul network for summer 2024, enhancing connections from its bases in Geneva and Zurich.

The airline will add flights from Geneva to Oslo this summer and also provide new summer services on its existing Geneva-Copenhagen and Geneva-Stockholm routes. Travellers will also benefit from increased frequencies between Geneva and the existing destinations of Athens, Brindisi, Brussels, Catania, Malaga, Palma and Valencia this summer.

The airline’s existing winter service from Zurich to the northern German city of Bremen, meanwhile, will continue into the summer period. Frequencies will also be added between Zurich and various existing European destinations such as Alicante, Madrid, Naples, Venice and Vilnius.

Last year, SWISS also announced plans to launch flights to Cluj-Napoca in Romania and Kosice in Slovakia in summer 2024.

The airline’s chief commercial officer, Tamur Goudarzi Pour, commented:

“We are very pleased to be further expanding our portfolio of European destinations to give our customers an even broader selection of air travel options.

“And in doing so, we’re underlining our commitment at SWISS to offering both top-notch services and extensive travel choice.”

The Lufthansa Group carrier reached a post-pandemic milestone at the end of last month, returning the last of its stored aircraft into service.
