The 25hours Hotels brand has partnered with Zurich-based firm Soeder to stock its eco-friendly toiletries in its 15 hotels worldwide.

Soeder produces organic skin products, which are 100 per cent natural in origin, containing ingredients such as Swiss honey, wheat proteins and cold-pressed organic oils.

All components are sourced, developed and produced on-site in Soeder’s factory in Zurich, with the energy generated during the soap-making process harnessed to power the rest of the production line. Once manufactured, the products are packaged in refillable glass bottles.

The products will be stocked in the hotels’ guest rooms, bathrooms and spa facilities, and will also be available to purchase in the 25hours shops.

Soeder co-founder Hanna Olzon-åkerström commented:

“The five-star hotels were a no-go originally for us as – in order to stock for them, we had to lower our sustainability standards and for example, agree for our products to be used once and thrown away, – that didn’t work for us.”

25hours Hotels, however, ticked all the boxes and has allowed Soeder to install refill stations in most of its properties – this does not include Hamburg Hafenamt (as it is close to the Hamburg Hafencity property) and the properties in France and Copenhagen. Both locals and guests can therefore refill a bottle of Soeder bottles (for a fee) at the participating 25hours Hotels.

25 Hours Hotels is part of Ennismore, a joint venture with Accor formed in 2021, and comprises 15 properties in cities such as Zurich, Frankfurt, Paris, Copenhagen, Dubai and Florence.

The brand intends to open a hotel in Jakarta at the end of this year, followed by its debut in Sydney next year, as well as properties in Trieste and Porto in 2026. Hotels in Budapest and Trojena, Saudi Arabia, are also in the early stages of development.
