Virgin Atlantic has launched a new promotion for its Reward+ Mastercard credit card, with new cardholders able to earn up to 30,000 bonus points when applying in the coming weeks.
Cardholders usually receive a welcome bonus of 15,000 Virgin Points when applying for the card (which has an annual fee of £160) and making their first purchase.
But those applying by 2 October will also receive an additional bonus of 15,000 points when they spend £3,000 or more with the first 90 days.
Other benefits of the Reward+ card include 1.5 Virgin Points for every £1 spent on everyday purchases, and 3 points for every £1 spent with Virgin Atlantic or Virgin Holidays.
Virgin also offers a standard Reward credit card, which does not attract a welcome bonus, but also does not have an annual fee, and earns cardholders 0.75 Virgin Points for every £1 spent on every day purchases, and 1.5 points for every £1 spent with Virgin Atlantic or Virgin Holidays.

Virgin also highlights that cardholders can earn additional Virgin Points when making purchases through the Virgin Red app.
For instance a Reward+ credit card holder spending £60 at Boots through Virgin Red will earn 90 points for the credit card spend (at 1.5 point per £1 spent), plus another 60 points for the Boots purchase (at 1 point per £1 spent).
