Virgin Red has added a total of 56 new retailers to its online points earning programme, joining companies including John Lewis and Partners, Marks and Spencer and Boots.

The full list of new partners can be seen below, and includes technology company Dell, home improvement retailer Homebase, fragrance and personal care brand Molton Brown, and tickets sale firm Ticketmaster.

To earn points members must click through to the retailer’s website through the relevant links in their Virgin Red account.

The news follows the launch of the Virgin Trains Ticketing service last year, allowing Virgin red members to earn one point per £1 spent on rail travel within England, Scotland and Wales.

More recently the scheme added a new partnership with Virgin Hotels, offering members 2,000 points when staying at participating properties.

Virgin Red members can now earn points at Virgin Hotels

Commenting on the news Richard X Moore, partnerships director at Virgin Red, said:

“We are delighted to welcome these 56 prestigious retailers to Virgin Red, giving our members even more ways to boost their points balance.

“We want to be able to reward our members for their everyday spending, so they can treat themselves or a loved one with a range of rewards.”

The Virgin Red scheme was officially opened up to new members in 2021, allowing Virgin Atlantic Flying Club members to join Virgin Red and link their accounts together, expanding earn and burn opportunities.

Both schemes use the same currency, following the rebranding of Flying Club miles as Virgin Points in September 2020.
