Premier Inn has launched a new partnership with British brand Baylis & Harding.

The group’s 80,000 rooms across the UK and Germany will now feature shower gel and handwash products by the family-owned fragrances and beauty firm.

Guests in standard Premier Inn rooms will benefit from handwash, and a hair and body wash from Baylis & Harding’s Elements White Tea and Neroli range, presented in wall-mounted marble-inspired bottles.

Customers in Premier Plus rooms will find products from the group’s Goodness range, including an Oud, Cedar and Amber handwash, and a choice of Lavender and Bergamot or Oud, Cedar and Amber body washes.

The premium Premier Plus concept initially launched as a trial in 2019, and has subsequently been rolled out across hundreds of rooms across the group’s portfolio.

Tania Slater, co-founder Baylis & Harding, said that the brand had “worked carefully with the team at Premier Inn to really understand the needs of its guests and have crafted two specially developed exclusive ranges, designed to help guests unwind before bed, as well as wake up feeling reenergised”.

Meanwhile Premier Inn global customer director Tamara Strauss commented:

“In the historic year of the Coronation, the world’s eyes are on all things British and so there couldn’t be a more fitting time to announce our partnership with another great British brand.

“We are as pleased as punch to be working with Baylis & Harding – a company whose values around quality, sustainability and affordability are fully aligned to our own. As a business, sleep is our thing – you might even say we’re a bit obsessed with our pursuit to ensure our guests have the best night possible.

“Our guests can now enjoy Baylis & Harding’s luxurious ranges – whatever room type they choose – these wonderfully relaxing products are a great illustration of the innovative ways we’re investing in helping people have the best possible night’s sleep”.

In other news Premier Inn said that it had selected Lancashire-based Silentnight as its official bed supplier, with an investment in “its most technologically advanced bed to date”.

The group said that the new bed had been “rigorously tested and refined over a period of two years before being rolled out to Premier Inn hotels”.
