JPMorgan Chase & Co will open the first US lounge under its Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club on May 16.

The 11,640 square foot facility at Boston Logan International airport is located in the Terminal B to C Connector between gates B40 and B39, and is available to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers through their Priority Pass membership, who can be accompanied by two free guests.

Note that Priority Pass members without a Sapphire Reserve card can visit a Sapphire Lounge by The Club location one time at no cost per calendar year, with an entry fee charged for each subsequent visit to any location within the Sapphire Lounge by The Club network.

Features of the Boston lounge include a dining menu by local chef Douglass Williams, as well as a taproom offering local craft beer and coffee, a centrepiece wine and cocktail bar, two wellness rooms with anti-gravity massage chairs and guided meditations, and two dual-head shower rooms.

The lounge has views of the airfield and Boston Harbour, and features artwork from JPMorgan Chase & Co’s private collection, as well as pieces by Boston-based artist Silvia López Chavez.

Plans for the new Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club brand were first unveiled in June 2021, and the first lounge opened at Hong Kong International airport in 2022.

The group also opened an “indoor/outdoor terrace” at Austin-Bergstrom International airport last year, again open to departing Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers and up to two guests.

Further locations are also under development at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International airport, New York’s LaGuardia airport, Philadelphia International airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor International airport and San Diego International airport.

Commenting on the opening Dana Pouwels, managing director, Sapphire Lounge general manager and head of Chase Sapphire Partnerships, said:

“Chase Sapphire is leading the charge when it comes to creating one-of-a-kind opportunities for its travellers and our new lounge in Boston paves the way for Sapphire’s benefits to enhance our cardmembers’ airport experience.

“Sapphire Reserve cardmembers are travelers by nature, so we’re upgrading their travel journey with elevated airport lounges that unlock new dining, wellness and cultural experiences.”
