Cycas Hospitality has signed a contract with real estate and energy investment company London Town Group to operate three properties in London.

Cycas will operate its first Mercure-branded hotels and its second Hotel Indigo property in London’s Paddington area.

The 72-room Mercure London Hyde Park, located within a Grade II listed building, recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment. The 86-room Mercure London Paddington, meanwhile, is set to start a renovation programme next year which will include a revamp of its ground floor F&B facilities and the creation of a rooftop bar on its top floor.

Meanwhile, the 64-room Hotel Indigo London Paddington will mark Cycas’ seventh IHG-branded property, though its first Hotel Indigo in London – it already has a property under the brand in Dundee.

All three properties include an array of dining facilities, meetings spaces and state-of-the-art fitness centres, and are a short walk from Hyde Park and Paddington station.

Matt Luscombe, CEO of Cycas Hospitality, said:

“I’ve known and admired Koolesh and his team for many years, since he opened the first Hotel Indigo outside of North America in 2009. Over the last decade, London Town Group has been synonymous with commercial and operational excellence.

“With their central locations and exceptional transport links, these three hotels are ideally positioned to capitalise on the recovery in business and leisure travel. We’re proud and excited to begin this partnership together.”

Cycas Hospitality’s portfolio now comprises eight hotels in London and 18 across the UK.

Earlier this year Cycas signed an agreement with Accor to manage Ibis Bridgwater.
