Accor has debuted its Mercure brand in Greece, with a property located on the island of Rhodes.

Mercure Rhodes Alexia (formerly the Alexia Premier City Hotel) is located 50 metres from Niochori Beach and 15km from the island’s international airport. Nearby cultural attractions include Mandraki Port, the Palace of Grand Master of the Knights, and the Castle of the Old Town.

The 136-room hotel features facilities including a swimming pool, a spa offering wellness services and treatments, a gym, and two restaurants which marry contemporary flavours and traditional techniques. The concierge can also organise day trips such as visits to Symi Island or the Kallithea Springs.

Jerome Lassara, Development Director Accor, Southern Europe, commented:

“Accor is delighted to welcome Mercure Rhodes Alexia as the newest destination in our ever-expanding portfolio. With its stunning environment and long history of refined hospitality, Greece is a clear and strategic location for Group expansion. We look forward to what is set to be a positive and dynamic venture.”
