British Airways has announced a further extension to the validity of all vouchers within its Executive Club loyalty programme.
The six-month extension follows similar moves last year, and applies to all vouchers due to expire before December 31, 2021.
This includes Gold Upgrade Vouchers, American Express Companion Vouchers, Chase Travel Together Tickets, RBC Companion Award Vouchers, Asba Companion Vouchers, RSB American Express Companion Vouchers and RSB World Mastercard Companion Vouchers.
The changes should already be showing in members’ accounts.
In addition the carrier is adding six months’ validity to all new Companion Voucher or Travel Together tickets earned between June 2020 and the end of this year – ba.com will be updated to reflect these changes shortly.
In recent weeks carriers including Cathay Pacific, Emirates and Qatar Airways have moved to further extend loyalty scheme status benefits through the rest of this year.
British Airways’ current policy has seen a 12-month status extension for all Executive Club members with tier point collection end dates up to the end of June 2021.
