Hilton has unveiled plans for a new-build Curio Collection property on the stretch of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula known as the Riviera Maya.

The 250-room EOS Tulum, Curio Collection by Hilton is set to open in early 2023, located within walking distance of the Tulum ruins and the beaches of Paraiso and Santa Fe.

Facilities will include a spa, fitness centre, paddle ball court, mini golf course, “multiple outdoor pools located throughout the resort”, around 200sqm of meeting space, and “a variety of dining experiences, including full-service speciality restaurants, unique bar concepts and a chic sky lounge”.

Hilton’s Curio Collection launched in 2014, and has since grown to over 90 properties worldwide.

The brand debuted in Mexico’s capital in 2019, with the opening of the 59-room Umbral, housed within a restored heritage building in downtown Mexico City, overlooking the city’s metropolitan Cathedral, County Hall, and El Palacio de Hierro department store.
