Boutique Paris hotel Chouchou is set to open on September 7 in the French capital’s Opera district.
The property (named after a French term of endearment) had been set to open in April, but this was delayed due to the onset of Covid-19.
The hotel is located on Rue du Helder close to Palais Garnier, and features 63 rooms “showcasing French craftmanship”, with parquet flooring and bespoke artwork – some also offer balconies and separate bathtubs.
Other facilities include a food court, Bar Guingette (a bar-cum-dance venue), three pools in the basement that can be rented by the hour, and a “backstage area” for private events.
Chouchou is part of the Elegancia Group, which comprises around 20 Paris properties including Bob Hotel, Off Paris Seine, Hotel La Comtesse, Hotel Felicien and Hotel Crayon.
