Intercontinental Hotels Group has debuted its Hotel Indigo brand in central Brussels, with the opening of a “botanical-themed” property.

Located on Place Charles Rogier, the hotel has 284 garden-inspired rooms decorated in floral, herbal and tropical themes. As well as plant prints, they will contain PikaPlant terrariums. Amenities include desks, complimentary water, coffee machines, smart TVs and free wifi.

The hotel is decorated throughout with indoor plants, and has ‘living walls’ with greenery growing from them.

General Manager Benjamin Tenius commented: “We are excited to have opened our doors in such a prominent part of Brussels. At Hotel Indigo, we want to create an experience that is truly unique to the local neighbourhood.

“Not only are our rooms designed around the neighbouring Botanic Gardens, but even our public spaces and external facade have living walls and a large selection of indoor plants.”
