Chauffeur provider Blacklane has added lounge access and queue skipping to its list of available services with the company launching its new Blacklane PASS (Premium Airport Services and Solutions) suite of purchasable concierge offerings.

Able to be booked individually or as a bundle, the new services include the option of skipping security and immigration lines (US$100) as well as getting access to lounges in more than 500 airports around the world (US$50). Customers are not required to book chauffeur rides in order to be able to purchase airport services.

On the concierge side, passengers can pay for arrival, departure and connection services that include being greeted by the concierge, bypassing queues and getting assistance with luggage, duty-free shopping and VAT refunds.

For lounge services, meanwhile, customers get three hours of access in airline and private lounges, including complimentary food and beverages, showers and wifi.

“Travellers’ most valuable – and most wasted – asset is time,” said Jens Wohltorf, CEO and co-founder of Blacklane. “We save time from your door step to the plane door and vice versa, giving you a seamless travel experience on the ground, be it on the road or within airport terminals.”

Blacklane’s new service follows its acquisition of airport concierge operator Solve last October.

The company expanded its services to Asia-Pacific back in December 2016, and since then has begun partnering with a number of airline loyalty programmes, including Asia Miles, Enrich, Krisflyer and Royal Orchid Plus.
