Chauffeur service Blacklane will soon be adding airport concierge services to its list of offerings, following its recent acquisition of airport concierge booking platform, Solve.

Starting in December, travellers will be able to search for and book services at more than 500 airports around the world via Blacklane, whether they book a chauffeur ride or not.

These notably include curbside and air-side passenger meet and greet, fast-track security, customs and immigration, connecting flight assistance and even lounge access.

“Frequent travellers’ most valuable asset is time and airport procedures waste a lot of it,” said Blacklane co-founder and CEO, Jens Wohltorf. “Concierge services save travellers time before and after flights while making the most out of the time spent in airports.

“This is a natural extension of Blacklane’s personal service and high-quality rides as it connects the dots between a comfortable flight and a comfortable ride.”

Blacklane expanded its presence into Asia-Pacific last year and is now available in approximately 250 cities around the world. This notably includes cities in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Meanwhile Qatar Airways recently announced that it has begun partnering with Blacklane to offer door-to-door chauffeur-driven transfers for travellers in all classes in some 85 destinations to which it flies.
