An extended-stay hotel is being added to the mix of on-airport lodging at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

A 125-suite Hyatt House is scheduled to debut in mid-2020 at the airport’s Southgate Plaza, already home to a two-year-old, 137-room Hyatt Place hotel, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The Hyatt House will be the fourth hotel located at the Texas airport. In addition to the Hyatt Place, DFW has a 298-room Grand Hyatt at Terminal D and a 600-room Hyatt Regency at Terminal C.

The DFW Hyatt House would be the 12th such hotel in Texas, including the new Hyatt House Bryan/College Station, opening in July 2018.

DFW is the headquarters of American Airlines and serves more than 200 domestic and international destinations. At 17,207 acres, it is the second-largest airport in the US, and is bigger than the island of Manhattan. In 2017, more than 67 million travellers used DFW, a new record.
