Park Regis is to open its second UK property in June next year, located in London’s Shoreditch.
Details are still sketchy, but the 125-room hotel will be situated next to Old Street roundabout, and will feature “sophisticated interiors and modern features with plenty of natural light [to] ensure a pleasant and delightful hotel experience for corporate and leisure guests alike”.
The upscale Park Regis brand currently operates seven hotels in Australia, as well as properties in Birmingham, Dubai, Singapore, Bali and Jaipur.
The addition of the Park Regis Shoreditch is part of StayWell Hospitality Group’s plans to grow its Park Regis and midscale Leisure Inn brands within the UK.
The group has signed an agreement Fiveways Hospitality, which CEO Simon Wan said “will help to secure an additional four hotels in the region within the next 48 months which is part of the group’s overarching plan to reach 100 hotels globally within the next three year”.
“The United Kingdom and Europe as a whole, presents a great opportunity for our Park Regis and Leisure Inn brands, especially after the successful opening of Park Regis Birmingham in March 2016,” said Wan.
