World of Hyatt has announced it has now integrated Mr & Mrs Smith properties into its booking channels, following the acquisition of the London-based platform for £53 million last year.

Members can now earn and redeem at more than 700 participating Mr & Mrs Smith properties through Hyatt’s booking channels.

I say participating because when the original deal was announced Hyatt said that the collection had more than 1,500 properties worldwide, so it seems a large portion of these are not available to earn or redeem at currently.

Hyatt said that the integration has added more than 20 countries to World of Hyatt, including Namibia, Fiji and the British Virgin Islands.

Members can browse participating properties by visiting hyatt.com/explore-hotels/map and filtering by Mr & Mrs Smith. To find out more about member benefits when staying at Mr & Mrs Smith properties, visit hyatt.com/mrandmrssmith.

Hyatt’s acquisition of the platform led to Mr & Mrs Smith terminating its previous agreement with IHG Hotels and Resorts.

Meanwhile Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) – which had previously had an agreement with Hyatt – has now signed “an exclusive strategic partnership” with Hilton.

Commenting on the news Amy Weinberg, senior vice president, brand, loyalty and data, Hyatt, said:

“Our members truly value World of Hyatt, and we’re always looking for new ways to engage guests, help them get the most out of their travels and reward them for experiencing what the world has to offer – from cozying up in a secluded treehouse in the Arctic Circle, reigning over an English country manor, glamping under starry desert skies or going wild in a jungle villa perched above Pacific waters.

“True to our Be More Here platform, the addition of hundreds of hotels and villas, hand-selected by Mr & Mrs Smith, helps Hyatt welcome even more members in new destinations and deliver on our guests’ desires to have truly meaningful experiences when they travel.”
