Marriott has opened its latest hotel at Jewel of the Creek, a landmark development situated in the heart of Dubai’s bustling and historic Creek area that has been described as the city’s “cultural crossroads and business epicentre”.
The new hotel – the Marriott Marquis Dubai – will encompass four towers, each of which is inspired by the aesthetic of graceful waves and the fluidity of water, mimicking its nearby waterfront views that also boast a sweeping look over the iconic Dubai skyline. It is owned by West F5 Investments LLC and managed by Aleph Hospitality, the largest independent hotel management company in the Middle East and Africa.
The five-star property has 434 modern rooms and suites that have been designed to act as retreat amidst the vibrant cityscape of the busy surrounding area, which is also a stone’s throw from Dubai’s financial district. Marriott Marquis Dubai features three restaurants. The Copperhead offers an upscale gastro-pub where guests can savour hearty pub grub and craft brews, while Bella Bocca, a chic Italian restaurant, serves comforting classics. Meanwhile, Creek Kitchen serves up international all-day dining, with multiple live cooking stations and a fusion of flavours inspired by cuisines from every corner of the world. All of the venues open up to a terrace by the promenade, ideal for an alfresco dining experience.
The property also encompasses 156 apartments featuring a sophisticated design and modern conveniences, crafted to feel like a welcoming urban oasis. Each of the serviced apartments offers expansive living areas, fully-equipped kitchens, floor-to-ceiling-windows, and private balconies. Each residential tower also offers first-class facilities for leisure seekers, including a sun-soaked pool overlooking the Dubai Creek and city skyline, as well as a gym with state-of-the-art equipment.
