Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts is reopening its renowned Mediterranean hotels for the 2024 season, with its Mallorca-based Jumeirah Port Sóller Hotel & Spa having opened its doors on March 18th, and its Capri-based Capri Palace Jumeirah set to welcome guests from 25 April 2024.

The clifftop Jumeirah Port Sóller Hotel & Spa is nestled between the UNESCO listed Tramuntana Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, offering panoramic views in an exceptional setting of understated luxury. This year, the hotel boasts an upgrade of the hotel inventory with expanded grand terraces for 13 of the Junior Suites, where guests can now enjoy extended glass front balconies ranging from 15-22sqm, encompassing expansive sea views and private Ethimo sun loungers.

The hotel has also launched a collaboration with the iconic Gerhardt Braun Gallery in Mallorca to host the works of internationally renowned local artist Francesca Marti throughout the lobby. Guests will also have access to exclusive private tours of the Gerhardt Braun Gallery organised through the hotel’s concierge. Throughout the season there will be ongoing partnerships with local artists Lolo Garner and Guillem Angel to create sculptures that eventually adorn communal hotel spaces. The property will also showcase a collection of works by Dutch painter Carla Raads, inspired by the Mallorcan sunsets.

Jumeirah to double portfolio by 2030

Meanwhile, at Capri Palace Jumeirah, the pace is all about la dolce vita. Located in the heart of Anacapri, the most authentic, exclusive and unspoiled part of the island, the hotel blends contemporary art and design with the natural beauty of the Italian Riviera. The hotel places design front and centre, with traditional palazzo architecture, mixed with contemporary spaces and light and airy interiors, are enhanced with elegant Capritouch rooms with exquisite Loro Piana fabrics.

During the 2024 season, guests will once again get an opportunity to explore The White Museum, a private collection of contemporary works showcased throughout the property, while the property will also be brought alive with works loaned through a continuing partnership with international contemporary art gallery Galleria Continua. The hotel will also see the return of its prior collaboration with French fashion house Dior at Il Riccio, that will transform its beach club into a fashion sanctuary with signature Dior touchpoints and a pop-up boutique showcasing the brand’s timeless capsule collection, Dioriviera. The hotel is also known for its Capri Medical Spa, which is renowned for its health and beauty treatments and personalised holistic and medical programmes, including its iconic “Leg School” treatment.
