Star Alliance member Air Canada plans to launch a new nonstop service between Seoul Incheon and Montreal.

Commencing 18 June, Air Canada will operate Incheon-Montreal four times a week with three-class Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

Flights AC068 will depart Incheon at 1800 every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and arrive in Montreal at 1830 on the same day.

In the opposite direction, Air Canada service AC067 will leave Montreal every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 1235 for arrival into Incheon at 1625 the following day.

This will be Air Canada’s third route from Seoul this summer, complementing daily nonstop service to Toronto and Vancouver.

The Vancouver-Seoul and Toronto-Seoul services also see the 787-9 operating, although the Vancouver-Seoul flight will be upgauged to the 777-300ER from 30 March.

Air Canada’s 787-9s seat just under 300 passengers, including 30 in business and 21 in premium economy, while its 777-300ERs seat between 400-450 passengers.

In other Air Canada Asia-Pacific updates, the airline will increase its frequency on Hong Kong-Vancouver to up to 11 weekly services starting 14 May, including both morning and evening departure options.
