Etihad Airways has announced plans for two new services to Antalya and Jaipur, as part of a wider expansion which will also see frequency increases on other routes.

Thrice weekly flights to Antalya will start on 15 June, followed by a four-times-weekly service to Jaipur the following day.

Both routes will be served with A320 aircraft, with flights to Antalya operating on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (departing Abu Dhabi at 0920 and returning from the Turkish city at 1430), and services to Jaipur operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (departing Abu Dhabi at 0305 and returning from Jaipur at 1100).

The Abu Dhabi-Jaipur route will bring Etihad’s Indian network to 11 gateways, and from June the carrier will also add three weekly frequencies to its Thiruvananthapuram service (bringing it to ten weekly flights).

Elsewhere Etihad is also set to add three weekly frequencies to each of its routes to Amman, Cairo, Karachi and Colombo from mid June.

The airline said the expansion plans bring its total weekly flights to 847 in 2024, compared to 635 in summer 2023.

It’s been a busy few weeks for Etihad, following the unveiling of new amenities in partnership with Giorgio Armani and ESPA, the revamping of its Etihad Guest loyalty programme, and the delivery of three new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
