Standard International has outlined plans to open three European properties by 2027.

The Standard, Brussels is expected to open in the first half of next year within the city’s redeveloped World Trade Center, offering 200 rooms, of which 20 will be the group’s first foray into extended stay.

Interiors will be inspired by the adjacent botanical garden, and the hotel will feature a lobby restaurant and bar, and a 29th floor rooftop garden and brasserie.

This will be followed by The Standard, Lisbon in late 2025, which will be housed within the a former naval hospital in the city’s Alfama district, and will offer 172 rooms, a cafe with views of Campo de Santa Clara, a signature restaurant, outdoor pool deck and rooftop cocktail bar.

Finally The Standard, Dublin will now open in 2027 within the Dublin Arch development. This 200-room property was announced in 2021 and had originally been scheduled to open in 2025.

The Standard, Singapore is set to open this year, and the group is also set to debut its new brand The StandardX in Melbourne’s Fitzroy suburb, which it describes as “the rebellious younger sibling of The Standard”.
