Hilton has announced plans to open a Signia property in the US city of Indianapolis.

The 800-room Signia by Hilton Indianapolis will be connected to the existing Indiana Convention Center, which is currently undergoing a $710 million expansion project.

The 40-storey new-build property is expected to open in 2026, and will feature seven dining concepts including a speakeasy bar, a top floor sky bar and a signature chef-driven restaurant.

The hotel will also offer 90,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 50,00 square-foot ballroom, as well as a club lounge and outdoor pool.

Hilton launched the Signia brand in 2019, with the stated aim of “transforming the industry for meeting professionals and sophisticated business travellers by infusing state-of-the-art technology and design into every aspect of the guest experience”.

To date there are two Signia hotels open – Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, and Signia by Hilton San Jose – with the 976-room Signia by Hilton Atlanta set to open in early 2024.
