Hilton opens dual-branded property in Indianapolis

Hilton has opened a dual-branded Hampton and Homewood Suites property in Indiana’s state capital Indianapolis.

The development is located on Indianapolis Canal Walk across from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, in the city’s Canal and White River State Park Cultural District.

It has been built on the site of the city’s Bethel AME Church, combining a new building with the existing three-storey church which dates to 1869.

Guests enter the property through the church building, with features including a total of 231 rooms (123 Hampton rooms and 108 Homewood rooms and suites), an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, an outdoor rooftop patio with fire pits, 11,000 square feet of events space, a Starbucks and a McAlister’s Deli which will open later this year.

Homewood Suites guests benefit from a complimentary managers reception on Wednesday evenings, while guests of both hotels enjoy complimentary breakfast.

The Hampton by Hilton brand currently counts over 2,700 properties in 32 countries, including the recently opened Hampton by Hilton Canterbury, while the group’s extended stay Homewood Suites offering has over 520 locations across the US, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean, and recently unveiled a brand refresh called ‘Prototype 10.0’.
