Jet2 has announced plans to serve two Moroccan destinations from winter 2024.

The low-cost carrier will offer up to 17 weekly flights to the country from a total of six UK airports, with more than 180,000 seats now on sale.

There will be four routes to Marrakech as follows:

  • Birmingham – two weekly flights operating from 4 October, 2024 through to 14 November, 2025
  • Glasgow – two weekly flights operating from 4 November, 2024 until 28 April, 2025, and from 3 October to 14 November, 2025
  • Manchester – two weekly flights operating from 4 October, 2024 through to 14 November, 2025
  • London Stansted – two weekly flights operating from 4 October, 2024 through to 14 November, 2025.

Note that the Glasgow-Marrakech route is not currently served by any other carriers.

Meanwhile Jet2 will also operate six routes to Agadir as follows:

  • Birmingham – two weekly flights operating from 3 October, 2024 through to 16 November, 2025
  • Bristol – weekly flights operating from 6 October, 2024 through to 13 November, 2025, with two weekly services operating at times during April and October 2025
  • Glasgow – weekly flights operating from 3 November, 2024 right through to 12 November, 2025, with two weekly services operating at times during April and October 2025
  • Leeds Bradford – weekly Thursday flights operating from 3 October, 2024 through to 13 November, 2025.
  • Manchester – two weekly flights operating from 3 October, 2024 right through to 16 November, 2025
  • London Stansted – two weekly flights operating from 3 October, 2024 right through to 16 November, 2025

The Bristol and Leeds Bradford to Agadir routes are not currently served by any other carriers.

Jet2 recently announced plans for new routes and additional capacity at Edinburgh, with a seventh aircraft being based at the airport next summer.
