Glasgow airport has introduced a new Twilight Bag Drop service, available to easyJet and Jet2 customers.

The airport says that passengers flying from the airport before 0830 can now check in their luggage between 1630 and 2100 the day before, allowing them to head straight for security on the morning of their flight. Note that a separate press release from easyJet says that the Glasgow twilight service opens at 1600.

To avail of the service customers must complete check-in and have their boarding pass and passports with them. The lead booker must also be present when the luggage is being checked in.

Jet2 passengers should head to the airport’s satellite Terminal 2 building to use the twilight service, while easyJet customers should go to the airport’s main terminal.

EasyJet notes that it now offers twilight check-in services at seven airports – Amsterdam, Berlin, Bristol, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow and Manchester.

Virgin Atlantic recently relaunched its Twilight Check In service for customers departing Manchester airport.
