IHG Hotels and Resorts has unveiled further details of its new global loyalty programme, IHG One Rewards.
This follows the announcement at the start of the year of the programme’s elite status changes, with a new tier and bonus point earning structure set to begin on April 13 – all member accounts will be updated by April 17.
Additional member benefits will become available to members in early June 2022 and include:
- Free breakfast for Diamond Elite members as a welcome amenity choice.
- Exclusive access to reward night discount promotions for Platinum Elite and Diamond Elite members.
- More opportunities for Elite members to receive early check-in, late check-out (if available) and room upgrades (to suites, if available, or another premium room type for Platinum Elite and Diamond Elite members).
The loyalty programme will also launch its new platform Milestone Rewards in June, allowing members to choose their preferred rewards.
Members will get to choose a reward every 10 nights, starting at 20 qualified nights and up t0 100 nights. These rewards include bonus points, US$20 food and beverage rewards, suite upgrades and annual lounge membership – see a list below.
The hotel group also said it will roll out the new IHG One Rewards mobile app in the coming weeks.
