Collinson has launched a new partnership with credit and debit card provider Visa, offering cardholders discounts on Covid-19 tests.
Cardholders can get 20 per cent off all tests taken at UK testing facilities listed on Collinson’s website, as well as 15 per cent off all PCR tests in Singapore, 10 per cent off all PCR tests in the rest of the Asia Pacific region, and 5 per cent off all antigen tests in Asia Pacific.
Customers will receive a test certificate with their PCR results within 36 hours, or within one hour directly from the clinic for Rapid Antigen tests.
The partnership follows recent research by Collinson and the Centre for Aviation (CAPA), which shows that 54 per cent of respondent expect “robust Covid-19 testing protocols will remain key to re-opening borders until the end of 2022 in Asia Pacific”, with a further 26 per cent expecting this until the end of 2023.
Commenting on the news Todd Handcock, President, Asia Pacific at Collinson, said:
“Through our expanded partnership with Visa, which today includes airport lounge access and experiences for many of their cardholders globally, we’re extremely pleased to also help ensure Covid-19 travel testing is easily accessible to their vast network of cardholders.
“While Asia Pacific continues to be the ‘first in, last out’ of the Covid-19 pandemic, the importance of travel testing remains. We are delighted to be working with Visa to help the safe restart of global travel, and with more destinations opening up to travellers once again, we look forward to helping to restore their travel confidence as they take to the skies.”
Last month Collinson announced a new partnership with insurance company Allianz Partners to provide free airport lounge access during flight delays.
The service is accessible to members of the insurance company’s new Allyz digital platform, which provides safety, security, health and travel services and products.
