British Airways has launched a new promotion for domestic flights and holidays, as the UK builds up for a summer of staycations.

The carrier is offering over 35,000 seats on domestic services for less than £50 each way (based on a return fare), for travel on selected dates until September.

Fares on new routes from Belfast City to Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, and Newquay (launched a result of the collapse of Stobart Air), start from as low as £32 each way.

In addition BA is offering two-night domestic flight and hotel packages starting from £149 per person, including a stay at the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor on selected dates between July 19 and August 30, 2021.

Commenting on the promotion Colm Lacy, British Airways’ chief commercial officer, said:

“The last 18 months have been tough, with friends and relatives unable to see each other and many of us missing out on the chance to celebrate important landmarks and occasions with our loved ones.

“After a world-leading vaccination programme the UK is re-opening, and these deals offer our customers the chance to visit some of our best-loved cities this summer for really low prices. With travel dates stretching across summer, there’s plenty of choice and we look forward to welcoming people back to the skies.”
