Radisson Hotel Group has added its first property under the Radisson Individuals brand in the US, with the reflagging of the Tryp by Wyndham Sebastian Hotel.

Now known as the Sebastian Hotel, a member of Radisson Indidividuals, the 94-room property features an outdoor pool and hot tub with views of the San Sebastian River.

Radisson Individuals launched last year as a conversion brand aimed at encouraging independent hotels and local, regional chains to join the group’s platform.

The first hotel to join the collection was Henrietta House in Bath, and it was recently reported that Earl Heights Suites Hotel in Ghana has also been signed to the brand.

To celebrate the conversion to the Radisson Individuals brand Sebastian Hotel is offering a ‘Grand Opening’ package for stays booked by May 27, 2021 and completed by the end of the year, including “discounted accommodations, free parking, and two complimentary tickets to the Classic Car Museum of St Augustine”.

St Augustine is a coastal city in northeastern Florida, situated around 100 miles north of Orlando.

Commenting on the news said Jim Alderman, chief executive officer, Americas, Radisson Hotel Group, said:

“We are thrilled to welcome Radisson Individuals to our Americas portfolio and to open the doors to the very first Individuals hotel in our region in the charming coastal city of St Augustine.

“Radisson Individuals is the perfect addition to our exceptional umbrella of brands, and further sets us apart as one of the only hotel companies offering one brand per segment while providing best-in-class service and resources for our hotel owners and their teams.

“We are working diligently to quickly expand the footprint of this unique brand and look forward to sharing more exciting news about Radisson Individuals very soon.”
