Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina d’Ampezzo has become the latest member of the Radisson Collection, following an extensive renovation project.

The hotel is situated in the northern Italian ski resort of Cortina d’Ampezzo, which is currently playing host to the Alpine World Ski Championships.

Dating back to 1912, the property offers 126 rooms, a lobby and cigar lounge, wellness and spa facilities, 600 sqm of meeting and events space, and three food and beverage options – Ristorante Savoy, 1224 Bar Lounge, and 1224 Terrazza.

The adjacent Radisson Residences Savoia Palace Cortina d’Ampezzo offers a further 44 open plan apartments inspired by traditional mountain chalets.

The Radisson Collection was launched in 2018 as a replacement for the Quorvus Collection, as part of wider group restructuring which saw Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group renamed as the Radisson Hotel Group.

The brand recently debuted in China, with the rebranding of the former Radisson Blu Plaza Xing Guo Hotel, and in Africa, with the reflagging of the Sheraton Bamako.
