Radisson Hotel Group has added the first Chinese property under its Radisson Collection brand.

Formerly known as the Radisson Blu Plaza Xing Guo Hotel, the rebranded Radisson Collection Hotel, Xing Guo Shanghai is the brand’s first hotel in China, and the first in an Asia Pacific gateway city.

The 185-room property is situated with 17 acres of landscaped gardens in Shanghai’s Xujiahui downtown district, and features a top floor Executive Lounge, four restaurants and bars, a fitness centre and eight events spaces.

The 12th floor of the hotel is reserved for female guests, with a dedicated Madam Mi Lounge, and rooms featuring Dyson Supersonic hairdryers.

The rebranded property will be followed by the new-build Radisson Collection Resort, Nanjing, which is set to be unveiled in the second quarter of this year, located in the city’s Jiangning District and featuring an infinity pool and spa with hot spring.

The Radisson Collection was launched in 2018 as a replacement for the Quorvus Collection, as part of wider group restructuring which saw Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group renamed as the Radisson Hotel Group.

The brand recently opened its first property in Africa, with the rebranding of the Sheraton Bamako.
