Yotel has opened its first airport hotel in Asia, situated within the new mixed Jewel Changi Airport mixed use development.

The 130-cabin property is located on level 4, Lobby H of the development, and is the only hotel within the Jewel complex.

Features include a 24-hour gym, and the two-level Komyuniti social hub, which offers co-working and dining space, and overlooks Rain Vortex, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.

As previously reported here, the Jewel development officially opens on April 17, and features more than 280 retail and food and beverage outlets, including Southeast Asia’s largest Nike store, and an IMAX cinema.

To celebrate the opening Yotel is currently offering overnight stays in a Premium Queen cabin from £100, and four-hour day stays from £45.

Yotelair Singapore Changi Airport is the second Yotel property on the island city state, joining the existing 610-cabin city centre hotel on Orchard Road.

This week the group also opened landside and airside properties at the newly opened Istanbul airport.

The Yotel brand launched in 2007 at Gatwick airport, and there are currently 30 properties either operating or under development, with plans to increase this to 60 by 2023.

The group recently announced plans for its extended stay Yotelpad concept in Switzerland, as well as a Washington DC property and a second New York hotel.
