Ahead of its official opening on April 17, 2019, Jewel Changi Airport gave a special preview of its wide range of offerings to a selected group of people — three hour guided tour of this lifestyle destination is available until April 16, 2019.

Spread across 1,35,700 sqm, this complex is designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie and features a distinctive architecture. Jewel will include a cluster of international brands including Emack & Bolio’s, JW360˚, Lavender, OYSHO and Pokémon Centre Singapore in addition to many homegrown brands such as In Good Company, Supermama and Tiger Street Lab.

The opening of Jewel is expected to boost Changi Airport’s spot as being a popular transit hub across the globe, and especially for India which is the sixth largest market for the airport.

In addition to this, it is also aimed at further strengthening Singapore position as a hot travel destination for Indian travellers. In 2018, 4.8 million passenger movements were registered to and from India, with a year-on-year increase of 12 per cent.
