No1 Lounges will open a new facility at Edinburgh airport on Friday, and is currently offering 20 per cent off entry prices.

The group’s previous lounge at the airport closed last month, and its website confirms that it will open in a new location on February 8.

For those not holding a valid Dragonpass, Diners Club, IOD, Lounge Club, Priority Pass or Wexas membership, entry costs £28 when booked in advance (£35 on the door).

But the No1 Lounge Twitter page is currently promoting a special launch offer of 20 per cent of the entry fee (reducing the cost to £22.40) for visits before April, using the code TWEETEDI.

According to the frequently asked questions on the No1 Lounges website, the Edinburgh lounge is located opposite gate 10, although it’s unclear if this refers to the previous facility or the forthcoming opening (Business Traveller has contacted the group for clarification).

Guests benefit from complimentary food from the self-service selection, plus one dish from the made-to-order menu (extra dishes can be purchased for £4 each). All drinks except for champagne are included in the entry fee.

The group recently launched a new My Lounge facility at Gatwick’s South Terminal, as well as a new space under its premium Clubrooms offering at Birmingham airport.
