Intercontinental Hotels Group has announced plans for its second Kimpton property in the Netherlands.
Kimpton Rotterdam will be part of the mixed use POST development, within a building which dates back to 1921 and was formerly Rotterdam’s main Post Office.
The hotel will feature 231 rooms, and is scheduled to open in 2022.
The Kimpton brand made its European debut in Amsterdam last year, and recently added the Kimpton Fitzroy London (formerly The Principal London).
The brand is also set to open European hotels in Paris, Frankfurt and Barcelona.
